Kinder Class
(Hanover YMCA & South Hanover YMCA)

Staff to child ratio - 1:10

Kinder Class is a state licensed half-day child care program for kindergarten students who are enrolled in morning kindergarten.  This program provides education, recreation, social time and fun in a safe and nurturing environment.  The curriculum includes arts and crafts, field trips, fine and gross motor skills and self help skills.  Parents should send a packed lunch daily. 

The Hanover Kinder Class is NAEYC accredited and a Star 4 through Keystone Stars.  The South Hanover Kinder Class is a Star 1 through Keystone Stars. 

The YMCA will transport your child from Kindergarten to the YMCA.  Hanover and Conewago Valley School District students will be transported to the Hanover YMCA.  South Western School District students will be transported to the South Hanover YMCA.
